Yes to both. Extended 90-minute sessions are offered for both individuals and couples. This format is ideal for individuals who take a bit longer to warm up or for couples who need more space to untangle complex dynamics.
A dedicated number of slots is also reserved for sliding scale clients. If standard rates are a barrier, please bring this up so a sustainable arrangement can be discussed.
Logistical & Practice Details

The approach here is conversational, collaborative, and entirely human-first. You will never encounter a rigid, clinical wall or unsolicited advice. Instead, the focus centers on asking intentional questions and reflecting your experiences back to you, empowering you to own your choices with confidence. Expect warmth, absolute directness, and a healthy dose of humor—because healing doesn't mean we can't laugh.
-
An integrative framework is utilized, meaning tools are pulled from a diverse clinical toolbox based on your unique goals. Rather than forcing you into a rigid box, the therapy adapts to you using:
Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT): To map out attachment styles and heal relationship loops.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To rewire intrusive, unhelpful thought loops.
Narrative Therapy: To externalize problems and help you rewrite your story.
Strategic Therapy: To establish actionable, goal-oriented changes in your daily life.
-
Absolutely. Haus of Therapy is an intentional sanctuary. The practice is proudly and explicitly allied with the LGBTQIA+, Trans, Non-Binary, Kink, and Neurodivergent communities.
Specialized, affirming care is provided for consensual non-monogamy (CNM), polyamory, and open relationship structures. You will never have to spend your valuable session time explaining queer terminology or defending your lifestyle choices.
-
It’s a favorite metaphor around here! When you start a high-performance skincare routine, your skin often "purges"—things might get a little inflamed or raw at first as deep impurities surface. Therapy is no different. Bringing up old patterns or past wounds can feel heavy or uncomfortable initially. But once the active ingredients of vulnerability, strategy, and self-compassion begin to work together, you will notice lasting results and a brand-new internal glow.
